On Saturday, the Cumberland County 4-H Chick Chain Show & Sale celebrated the dedication of 24 young participants who spent five months raising chickens, marking the event’s largest participation to date. Thanks to sponsors Aviagen and Miller Heating and Air Conditioning, all proceeds directly benefited the youth.

Sylas Roach earned Grand Champion, and Chelsi Dorsi took Reserve Champion, with special thanks to Miller Heating and Air Conditioning for sponsoring these awards.

The community’s generous bidders helped the 4-H’ers raise over $3,400 from chicken sales, supporting future opportunities.
