OVER $1,270 IN PROPERTY STOLEN FROM MAYLAND ROAD HOME

On August 25, 2025, Deputy Shane Henderson of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a theft report on Mayland Road in Crossville. The reporting individual, a 19-year-old resident, stated that they and their spouse, in the process of moving out, had left the residence unlocked for approximately two weeks.

Upon returning, they discovered missing items, including a 20-inch Roku TV valued at $70, a school Chromebook worth $100, a projector valued at $500, and six vehicle parts (camera and van tires) worth $600, totaling $1,270 in stolen property. The victim reported no security cameras or additional details about the items.

The suspect remains unknown, with no identifying information provided. The incident was classified as “All Other Larceny” with no evidence of forced entry, bias, or gang activity.

Extra patrols were assigned to the area.
