MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING IMPACT DRIVER FROM CROSSVILLE TRACTOR SUPPLY

On September 14, 2025, the Crossville Police Department responded to a theft at Tractor Supply Company, located at Highland Square in Crossville. Officer Dustin Lester arrived at the scene following a report from an employee who stated that a male suspect, later identified as Jacob Jackson Webb, a 39-year-old white male, entered the store and stole a DeWalt 20-volt impact driver valued at $328.15.
The suspect took the tool from an end cap, exited through the east side to a fenced area, and threw the tool over the fence, where it was retrieved by an accomplice in a black Chevy HHR. The suspect then reentered the store, exited through the front, and was picked up by the same vehicle. Using vehicle tracking, Officer Lester identified the suspect’s vehicle, and Mptl. Henson conducted a traffic stop.
Mr. Webb, matching the suspect’s description from store surveillance, was found wearing the same clothes, hat, and boots. When confronted with video evidence, Webb admitted to the theft, stating he traded the tool for drugs on Shadberry Drive. He was arrested and charged with theft of merchandise, criminal trespassing, and vandalism for damaging spider wire.
