ONE TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER THREE-CAR CRASH ON HIGHWAY 70
Just after 7:00 a.m. today, a three-car crash occurred just east of the Patton Lane and Highway 70 intersection east of Rockwood. According to information received, a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer was pursuing a vehicle that subsequently crashed into two others, causing the accident.
Captain Wes Stoopsbury, who was at the scene and communicated via text, said one person was transported by ambulance to Turkey Creek Medical Center following the collision. No further details are available at this time.
