DETAILS ON SATURDAY’S CRASH ON WEST AND MILLER IN CROSSVILLE
On December 6, 2025, at approximately 5:06 PM, a two-vehicle angle collision occurred at the intersection of West Ave. and Miller Ave. in Crossville, Cumberland County, Tennessee, under clear weather and dark but lighted conditions.
Vehicle 1, a 2006 black Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 47-year-old Jason Levi Payne, was traveling northbound on West Ave. and ran a red light.
Vehicle 2, a 2021 black Ford Expedition driven by 37-year-old Natosha Michelle Authier, was traveling southbound on West Ave. in the left-turn lane and proceeded to turn left onto eastbound Miller Ave. on a green turn arrow.
Vehicle 1 struck the passenger-side front of Vehicle 2, resulting in disabling damage to the front end of Vehicle 1 and the right front area of Vehicle 2. Both vehicles required towing, but neither driver was injured, and both were wearing seat belts.
A witness confirmed she was behind Vehicle 2 and observed it had a green left-turn arrow. The investigating officer cited Payne for failure to obey traffic controls.
The Crossville Police Department responded within minutes, and the roadway was fully cleared by 5:43 PM.
