CROSSVILLE MAN ARRESTED AFTER HIT-AND-RUN CRASH AND RESISTING POLICE
On December 10, 2025, at approximately 3:41 p.m., Detective Tyler Lorenz of the Crossville Police Department observed Sebastin Miguel Domingo driving a Nissan Titan in Crossville, Tennessee, fail to yield while turning from West Avenue onto Stanley Street, resulting in a collision with another vehicle. Domingo then fled the scene at high speed.
Detective Lorenz pursued the vehicle and notified patrol units. At the intersection of Stanley Street and Miller Avenue, Detective Sergeant Vandever stopped the truck by blocking its path with his marked patrol car and activating emergency lights. Officers repeatedly identified themselves as police and issued multiple commands for Domingo to turn off the engine and exit the vehicle, but he refused to comply, appeared to search for an escape route, and verbally declined orders.
Detective Lorenz reached into the truck to shut off the ignition and later to unbuckle Domingo’s seatbelt, at which point Domingo grabbed the detective’s arm to prevent it. After unbuckling the seatbelt, officers continued ordering Domingo out, but he actively resisted and fought efforts to remove him from the vehicle. He was ultimately taken to the ground, where he continued resisting until officers secured his hands and applied handcuffs.
Domingo was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest, then transported to the Cumberland County Jail by Officer Grant.
