DRIVER CROSSES CENTER LINE IN CLEAR CREEK ROAD CRASH IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
On December 21, 2025, at approximately 17:51, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Clear Creek Road in Cumberland County, Tennessee. Vehicle 1, a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 70-year-old Ellen Rosenfeldt of Tennessee, was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and struck Vehicle 2, a 2008 Chevrolet HHR driven by 44-year-old Nancy Rinker of Tennessee, at an angle as it traveled eastbound.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and sustained injuries, as did one passenger in Vehicle 2, 50-year-old Stephen Brown of Tennessee, who was also belted. Vehicle 2 had two additional juvenile passengers, one wearing a seat belt with suspected minor injuries and the other in a booster seat with suspected minor injuries, bringing the total occupants in Vehicle 2 to five.
Following the impact, Vehicle 1 rolled and came to rest facing south in the roadway, while Vehicle 2 stopped near the impact area facing north. No charges were listed for any involved parties pending the outcome of the investigation.
