ROANE DEPUTIES INVESTIGATE MORNING ALTERCATION AT COFFEE CIRCLE
Early on Monday morning, around 2:30 a.m., an ambulance and Roane County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to residences on Coffee Circle, which runs off Ables Valley Road about a mile outside the Rockwood city limits, in response to some type of altercation. According to reports, the ambulance was instructed to stand by at the entrance to Coffee Circle and Ables Valley Road until sheriff’s deputies could enter and secure the scene at the apartments.
Sources indicated that there was a significant amount of blood inside and at least one injury. We have reached out to the Roane County Sheriff’s Department for additional information and will share any updates as soon as they become available.
The rest of the weekend was relatively quiet in terms of emergency traffic, with no major accidents or fires reported. However, the ambulance service and first responders handled several medical-related calls throughout the area, possibly in your communities.
