Throughout his difficult journey, he was steadfastly supported by his wife, Amanda Bourff, a former corrections officer herself, who stood by his side with unwavering love, strength, and commitment. His death represents a significant loss to those who served alongside him and knew him personally, and the Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff Rick Hamby and staff, asked that Amanda, their family, and everyone who cared about Ryan be kept in thoughts and prayers during this painful time.
