ROANE COUNTY MAN ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED SECOND-DEGREE MURDER IN SHOOTING OF EX-WIFE
On April 1st, special agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation joined the Rockwood Police Department at the request of 9th Judicial District Attorney General Russell Johnson to investigate a shooting at a residence on N Trinity Avenue in Roane County. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital following the incident. Investigators identified the suspect as Michael Scarbro (DOB: 06/30/65), the victim’s ex-husband.
Today, authorities obtained arrest warrants charging Scarbro with Attempted Second Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. He was subsequently arrested and booked into the Roane County Jail.
As with all such cases, the charges are merely accusations, and Scarbro is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
