CUMBERLAND COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT OPENS NEW LOCATION
The Cumberland County Highway Department reopened on Tuesday, April 7th at 8:00 AM in its new location at 23 Northside Lane, in the green building on the corner. The previous office was completely destroyed in the recent fire, along with the Election Commission Office and the Facilities Maintenance Department.
Despite the challenges caused by the fire, the road crews continued working without interruption to serve the county. The department was proud to announce that its office was once again open and ready to serve the community. They expressed gratitude for the patience and support shown during this difficult time.
