Mrs. Debra Ann (McIntosh) Cody of Burkesville, Kentucky, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 3 days. She was born on Saturday, August 3, 1957, in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of Robert & Shirley (Hymer) McIntosh. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Randall “Randy” Joseph.
She is survived by her husband, Barnell Cody of Burkesville, Kentucky, children, Gregory Scott Cody of Louisville, Kentucky, Mikey (& Melissa) Cody of Burkesville, Kentucky; siblings, Bobby McIntosh of Hamilton, Ohio, Rodney (& Lois Faye) McIntosh of Fairfield, Ohio, Roxanna Joseph of Hamilton, Ohio, grandchildren, Maddox Scott Cody, and Mikayla Rose Cody.
The memorial service will be conducted on Saturday April 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18, 2026, beginning at 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
