ROANE STATE PARTNERS WITH Y-12 FOR CYBERSECURITY SUMMER CAMP
Roane State Community College and the Y-12 National Security Complex are partnering once again to host the Cybersecurity Summer Camp for 2026 at the college’s Oak Ridge campus. Two separate sessions will be offered: the first for high school students (grades 9-12) from June 8-11, and the second for middle school students (grades 6-8) from June 15-18, both running daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
The camp aims to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals by introducing students to key skills used in Y-12’s program, including digital forensics, IP scanning, data reconnaissance, network visualization, mapping, and simulation. Registration is now open at a cost of $25 per camper, which includes a camp t-shirt. Space is limited and expected to fill quickly, with online registration available at roanestate.edu/cybercamp.
The Oak Ridge Campus is located at 701 Briarcliff Avenue, and additional details on parking and drop-off will be provided closer to the camp dates. For questions, contact Deborah Porter in Roane State’s Workforce Development office at [email protected].
