MAN KILLED AFTER HANDGUN ACCIDENTALLY DISCHARGES IN DOLLY PARTON’S STAMPEDE PARKING LOT
A man was killed Saturday evening after a handgun accidentally discharged in the parking lot of Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Around 7:35 p.m., Pigeon Forge police responded to a 911 call reporting a gunshot. Officers found two men inside a vehicle, and one told them he had been holding a handgun that went off, striking the other man.
The victim was transported to LeConte Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The incident remains under active investigation, and authorities have not released any additional information.
