On April 22, 2026, city police units were dispatched to Cornerstone Baptist Church at Tenth Street in Crossville after a report of minors possibly drinking alcohol in the church parking lot. Upon arrival, officers contacted three males—Degan Uribe, Adam Packett, and Dontae Parsons—all under the age of 21.

A teacher from TCAT observed alcohol inside their vehicle within arm’s reach of the subjects. An officer from Roane State Community College, who was on scene for the TCAT school, removed the alcohol from the vehicle and placed it on top of the car. All three individuals were cited for underage possession of alcohol, and the alcoholic beverages were subsequently poured out.
