On May 5, 2026, a resident of Sparta Highway reported to the Crossville Police Department that his John Deere riding lawnmower had been stolen from his carport. The theft occurred sometime between May 2 and May 3, 2026.

The victim indicated he does not currently have the mower’s serial number but planned to contact John Deere to obtain it. There was no video footage of the incident, and the lawnmower was valued at approximately $4,000.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
