According to a report by the Crossville Police Department, on May 21, 2026, at approximately 6:50 PM, two women allegedly stole merchandise valued at $408.45 from the Bucee’s store in Crossville. The two women arrived together in a white 2019 Buick Encore with a Kentucky license plate.

Surveillance footage showed one, wearing a pink t-shirt, entering the store, selecting items from the sales floor, concealing them on her person, and exiting without paying while the other, wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, remained in the passenger role.

A Buc-ee’s employee provided receipts and video evidence to police when the theft was reported on May 26, 2026. Sergeant Chrystal Massey identified both individuals from the footage but was unable to locate one of the women’s date of birth to pursue warrants. The surveillance video was seized and logged into evidence at the Crossville Police Department.
