MAN WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AND BURGLARY CHARGES TO APPEAR IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY COURT ON TUESDAY
A local man faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges following a series of incidents that culminated in an upcoming appearance in the Cumberland County Circuit Court. According to official court dockets and police records, Frank Henry Quince Jr. is scheduled for a deadline hearing on June 23, 2026, to address separate cases involving aggravated assault and attempted aggravated burglary of a habitation.
The legal proceedings stem, in part, from an incident on November 14, 2024, when Crossville police officers responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence on Underwood Street. According to an affidavit filed by Lt. Jared South, a masked individual wearing a black vest and backpack was captured on home surveillance footage entering a carport and searching a cabinet near the home’s entrance. While officers were interviewing the homeowner, they spotted Quince walking past the property wearing the exact clothing seen in the video. Quince was subsequently identified and charged with criminal trespass and attempted theft.
Following further investigations and subsequent filings, Quince’s charges were elevated in the criminal court system. He currently faces a November 2024 charge of aggravated assault, alongside an August 2025 charge for attempted aggravated burglary. Quince, who is being represented by a public defender, has had his total bond set at $20,000 covering both felony cases as he awaits his upcoming court date.
