ROANE MANOR DRIVE STRUCTURE FIRE QUICKLY CONTAINED THANKS TO MUTUAL AID EFFORTS

A swift and coordinated response by multiple local emergency agencies successfully brought a structure fire under control late Tuesday evening in the 100 block of Roane Manor Drive.

The Midtown 1st District Volunteer Fire Department, led on scene by Public Information Officer J. Alford, expressed deep gratitude for the immediate assistance of neighboring departments. The East Roane County Volunteer Fire Department, Blair Volunteer Fire Department, and the Roane County (TN) Office of Emergency Services & Homeland Security all responded to the call.

Upon arrival, firefighting crews initiated an aggressive attack on the flames. Thanks to their seamless teamwork and professionalism, the teams managed to quickly bring the situation under control, limiting property damage to the structure while ensuring that all individuals on the scene remained safe.

“Your support, teamwork, and dedication are truly appreciated,” said PIO J. Alford in a statement following the incident. “We are grateful for the strong partnership we share with our neighboring agencies and for the commitment each of you brings to serving our community.”

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and no injuries have been reported.
