MASSIVE EMERGENCY RESPONSE EXERCISE SCHEDULED AT STONE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL
Local residents should not be alarmed by a massive influx of first responders at Stone Memorial High School tomorrow.
The Crossville/Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency announced that emergency personnel from multiple area agencies will converge on the high school on Wednesday, July 1, for a large-scale training exercise.
The public can expect a heavy, highly visible presence of emergency vehicles, equipment, and personnel both on the school grounds and throughout the immediate area.
Officials want to emphasize that this is strictly a training exercise designed to test response capabilities. There is no active emergency, and there is absolutely no threat to the public.
