NO LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES REPORTED IN MORNING CRASH AT NOTORIOUS HARRIMAN INTERSECTION
Emergency crews responded to yet another traffic accident this morning at a notoriously crash-prone intersection, authorities reported.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Pine Ridge Road and Highway 70, a location well-known to locals and officials for its history of numerous accidents over the years.
The Harriman Police Department, Harriman Fire Department, local first responders, and an ambulance crew were quickly dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located one individual outside of their vehicle in the roadway.
Fortunately, officials confirmed that no life-threatening injuries were reported. The injured individual was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Traffic through the busy intersection was temporarily disrupted this morning as crews worked to clear the wreckage and officers conducted an initial investigation. The roadway was fully cleared, and traffic flow returned to normal at approximately 10:00 a.m.
The Harriman Police Department is actively investigating the cause of the crash. No additional details regarding the identities of those involved or the number of vehicles implicated have been released at this time.
