A local convenience store is putting Jamestown on the map after selling a massive winning lottery ticket in last night’s Tennessee Lottery drawing.

A lucky player managed to match four white ball numbers plus the Powerball, securing a hefty $50,000 prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Country Corner Market, located at 1000 Banner Springs Road in Jamestown. Lottery officials have not yet released the identity of the winner.

While Jamestown celebrates its newest five-figure winner, they weren’t the only ones striking gold last night. In Memphis, another ticket purchased at Amigos Express hit the Daily Tennessee Jackpot, netting a lucky player $30,000.

For those who missed out on this round, the stakes are only getting higher. The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to an estimated $576 million for tonight’s drawing, while the Powerball jackpot is soaring at an estimated $434 million for Wednesday night.
