Regional Forecast — Cumberland Plateau & Tennessee Valley
An unsettled weather pattern will continue through the end of the week with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms. While there will be periods of sunshine each day, scattered to numerous storms are expected, especially during the afternoon and evening, with locally heavy rainfall possible.
Today: Partly to mostly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing during the afternoon. Patchy morning fog is possible on the Cumberland Plateau. Highs around 83 on the Plateau and 87 in the Tennessee Valley. Chance of rain 50 to 70 percent.
Tonight: A few evening showers and thunderstorms, then partly cloudy. Patchy late-night fog is possible on the Plateau. Lows around 66 on the Plateau and 69 in the Valley. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Thursday: Mostly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon. Highs around 83 on the Plateau and 87 in the Valley. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Thursday Night: Increasing clouds with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible, especially late. Lows around 68 on the Plateau and 70 in the Valley. Chance of rain 40 percent.
