ANTHONY MARK KLISH FACES DEADLINE HEARING IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY COURT OVER 4-POUND METH SEIZURE

Anthony Mark Klish is scheduled for a deadline hearing in the Cumberland County Circuit Criminal Court on August 11, 2026, following a major drug arrest involving more than four pounds of methamphetamine.

Court records indicate Klish faces felony charges of manufacturing, delivering, selling, or possessing methamphetamine (300 grams or more), alongside a charge of resisting stop, arrest, or search.

According to the arrest narrative, the case stems from a traffic stop on Sept. 21st, 2024 initiated after a vehicle crossed a highway divider. During a subsequent consent search of the vehicle, law enforcement discovered a white package inside a backpack in the rear seat. The contents, confirmed by the driver to be methamphetamine, weighed approximately 4.11 pounds (300+ grams).

Authorities stated that during the encounter, Klish resisted arrest and was subdued with a taser.

Klish is currently out on a $100,000 surety bond secured through Tennessee Bonding Company, with Shawn Wilson listed as his defense attorney. The upcoming court appearance serves as a procedural deadline hearing in the ongoing criminal docket.
