CROSSVILLE DRIVER SERVICES CENTER REOPENS TODAY AFTER EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS
Cumberland County residents will once again be able to visit their local Driver Services Center starting today. The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced that the center, located at 136 Dooley Street, officially reopened to the public on Monday, August 10, 2026.
The facility originally closed on March 30 to undergo a series of planned improvements aimed at boosting overall efficiency and enhancing the customer experience.
Key Upgrades Include:

Modernized Lobby: Features updated flooring, fresh paint, and contemporary furniture.

Upgraded Technology: Implemented across the facility to streamline services.

Ergonomic Testing Area: Newly configured to improve the testing process for both citizens and staff.
The center has officially resumed its regular operating schedule of Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central.
