CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL TO WEIGH DATA CENTER REGULATIONS AND WATER TREATMENT CONTRACTS AT TUESDAY MEETING
The Crossville City Council is set to convene for its regular meeting tomorrow on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. inside the Council Chambers at City Hall. Led by Mayor R.J. Crawford, city officials will tackle a packed agenda featuring final action on new data center guidelines and major utility updates.
Key Agenda Highlights

Data Center Ordinance: The council will consider the third and final reading of Ordinance 26-0286, which formally establishes a new chapter (Title 14, Chapter 12) regulating data centers within the city limits.

Water Treatment Upgrades: Under other business, the council is scheduled to discuss a proposed contract with H2O Innovations for a 7.0 million gallons per day (MGD) membrane filtration system at the Meadow Park Lake Water Treatment Plant, alongside discussions regarding wholesale water rates.

Budget and De-annexation: Lawmakers will vote on the final reading of the fiscal year budget amendments (Ordinance 26-0289) for year-end adjustments and deliberate on a de-annexation request for parcel TMP 101 021.03.
The public meeting will also feature the standard roll call, public comments, reports from the Chamber of Commerce, and updates from both the City Attorney and City Manager Valerie Hale.
