DOMETIC EXPANDS SPARTA MANUFACTURING FACILITY, CREATING OVER 90 NEW JOBS IN WHITE COUNTY

Outdoor technology company Dometic is expanding its manufacturing operations in White County, bringing more than 90 new jobs to Sparta.
Announced by Gov. Bill Lee and TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter, the project involves relocating steering and helm manufacturing operations from Pennsylvania to Tennessee. The expansion will increase manufacturing capacity at the existing Sparta facility—which produces marine products—and push Dometic’s total statewide employment past 300 people.
Over 90 new positions will be added in White County as steering and helm manufacturing is moving from Pennsylvania to Sparta, Tennessee.
State and local leaders praised the move as a testament to Tennessee’s business-friendly climate and skilled workforce.
“Dometic’s commitment to creating more than 90 new jobs demonstrates their confidence in the Volunteer State,” said Gov. Bill Lee.
