CROSSVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATE VANDALISM AT ECO TRAVEL PLAZA
Local law enforcement is looking into a vandalism incident reported on August 15, 2026, at the Eco Travel Plaza located at 1897 Genesis Road.
According to the Crossville Police Department incident report filed by Master Patrolman Matt Charlock, officers responded to a call regarding damaged property. The victim stated that both driver-side tires on his personal vehicle were intentionally punctured while parked in the rear of the business, estimated to cost approximately $840 to replace.
The vehicle had been parked in the back lot since August 10 and was discovered damaged at around 10:30 AM on the day of the report. The victim reported a road rage incident on Genesis Road the week prior involving a dump truck driver who cursed at him and witnessed him parking his truck at the Eco Travel Plaza.
Authorities confirmed there are no security cameras covering the rear parking lot, leaving investigators with no immediate video footage or concrete suspects at this time.
