ROCKWOOD CITY COUNCIL TO HOLD MEETING TONIGHT FEATURING FINAL VOTE ON DATA CENTER ORDINANCE
Members of the Rockwood City Council and city staff will convene at 6 p.m. tonight at Rockwood City Hall for a rescheduled meeting, following the postponement of their regular fourth-Monday session last week.

Data Center Restrictions: The council is expected to grant final approval to an ordinance regulating data center locations. The updated measure restricts data centers exclusively to heavy industrial (M-1) zones, tightening an earlier draft that would have permitted them in light industrial areas.

Public Works & Infrastructure: Officials will vote on resolutions to hire a full-time public works laborer, convert the alleyway between N. Gateway Avenue and Elm Street into a one-way path for safety, and test a rubber speed table on Black Hollow Road.

Property Enforcement & Grants: The agenda includes authorizing the city attorney to enforce demolition liens at 708 and 710 Bernard Street, as well as approving participation in the Judy Housley Safety Partners Matching Grant Program.
