TWO-VEHICLE CRASH ON WEBB AVENUE SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL AFTER RUNNING RED LIGHT

A Saturday afternoon collision at the intersection of Webb Avenue and Genesis Road left two people with suspected serious injuries and caused a vehicle to overturn.
According to the Crossville Police Department report, the crash occurred on September 12, 2026, at approximately 12:52 PM. Investigators determined that a 2002 Mercedes-Benz (Vehicle 1), driven by 35-year-old Sean Ryan Martin of Crossville, was traveling westbound on Genesis Road at a high rate of speed. Witnesses reported that Martin failed to obey a traffic control device, running a red light as he entered the four-way intersection.
The Mercedes struck a northbound 2023 Toyota Corolla (Vehicle 2)—driven by 72-year-old Charlene Noldy Hall, with 81-year-old passenger Reggie Hugh Hall—which had a green light. The impact caused the Toyota to flip onto its roof. As it rolled, the Toyota collided with a third vehicle (Vehicle 3) driven by Paisley Fonda Liebert, which was leaving a parked position on Webb Avenue.
Emergency responders transported both occupants of the Toyota to Cumberland Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. Neither the driver of the Mercedes nor the occupants of the third vehicle required hospital transport. Crossville Police Patrolman Colten Johns investigated the incident.
