The City of Kingston announced that exciting improvements are coming to Ladd Park, backed in part by a grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC).

Construction is scheduled to begin on September 28, focusing on replacing the park’s existing pavilion, restrooms, and boat ramp. To ensure public safety during the construction phase, the park will remain closed through the winter months.

City officials noted that all other local parks will stay open and fully available for community use. Residents can look forward to the grand re-introduction of the newly upgraded Ladd Park when it reopens in the spring.
