Rockwood police arrested two local brothers late Tuesday night following a violent physical altercation at a local apartment complex on Meadows Place.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 9:36 p.m. on September 22, 2026, after receiving multiple calls reporting a large fight in progress. According to the preliminary police narrative, the disturbance began as a verbal dispute in the parking lot between a female resident and 19-year-old Glen Ray Beason, who witnesses stated had been involved in ongoing neighborhood tensions.

The argument escalated when the suspect allegedly approached the resident aggressively. A bystander intervened from a nearby balcony and subsequently joined the altercation downstairs, leading to a series of physical confrontations involving the suspect and several other individuals.

Investigators stated that Glen Beason and his 25-year-old brother, Johnny Devin Beason, later confronted the bystander with their fists raised near the apartment mailboxes. Both brothers sustained injuries during the clashes and were transported by emergency medical services to Roane Medical Center for treatment.

Following their medical evaluations and clearance, both brothers were taken into custody. Glen Beason was subsequently booked into the Roane County Jail, facing charges stemming from the disturbance.
