AMENTUM OPENS GLOBAL NUCLEAR HEADQUARTERS IN OAK RIDGE WITH $500,000 EDUCATIONAL INVESTMENT
Amentum officially opened its new global nuclear headquarters on Thursday at 151 Lafayette Drive in Oak Ridge, establishing a central hub for the company’s international nuclear operations.
The facility will house more than 150 nuclear experts. Its grand opening celebration brought together company leaders, Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, local officials—including Oak Ridge Mayor Warren Gooch and Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank—and education leaders.
To support the region’s expanding workforce, Amentum announced a five-year, $500,000 investment in a new Nuclear Scholars Program. Partnering with Roane State Community College and the University of Tennessee, the initiative aims to cultivate the next generation of industry professionals through scholarships, educational support, and career development opportunities, driving further economic growth across East Tennessee.
