TEN BORZOI PUPPIES STOLEN FROM WHITE COUNTY YARD; URGENT COMMUNITY SEARCH
Authorities are searching for an entire litter of ten Borzoi puppies after they were stolen from a fenced yard in Quebeck, Tennessee, on the morning of October 20.
According to representatives for the owner, the theft occurred between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. while the owner was at home. The mother dog was left behind with visible scratches, and every puppy from the litter was taken.
The stolen dogs are just five weeks old and still dependent on their mother. Because of their young age and incomplete weaning, experts and the owner warn that their health is particularly vulnerable.
Because the Borzoi breed is uncommon, investigators believe the puppies may be offered for sale or may have already been purchased by unsuspecting buyers who are unaware they were stolen.
How You Can Help
Anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the puppies is urged to contact the White County Sheriff’s Office at 931-836-2700.
