DAMIAN LEWIS ARRESTED FOR DUI AND METH POSSESSION AFTER MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH

A Crossville man was arrested on October 26, 2026, following a multi-vehicle crash on 127 North in front of Goodwill that sent two people to the hospital.
According to a Crossville Police Department incident report, officers responded to the scene where Damian Lewis, driver of a red Nissan truck, had rear-ended several vehicles. While initially speaking with Lewis, an officer noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath and bloodshot, watery eyes. Lewis admitted to drinking small “99’s” shots of alcohol and subsequently performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests.
During the investigation, two vehicle occupants were transported to Cumberland Medical Center for evaluation of potential injuries. Upon booking at the jail, a search of Lewis’s wallet revealed approximately 0.5 grams of methamphetamine. A search warrant was also obtained for a blood draw.
Lewis faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, manufacture, delivery, sale, or possession of methamphetamine, and introducing intoxicants or drugs into a penal facility, with bonds totaling $57,000.
