A Roane County man was arrested last night (Wednesday August 9, 2017) on a grand jury indictment for two counts of solicitation of a minor to observe sexual conduct. Goins was indicted in June of this year on the charges. Officers say 34-year-old Daniel Lee Goins of Harriman was also charged with simple assault and served two warrants for felony failure to appear in court. Goins was transported to the Roane County jail and placed under $210,000 bond. He will make his first appearance in Roane County General Sessions Court later this month.
