Two men were indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury this week on charges. Court officials say 51-year-old Robert Eugene Richardson of Crossville faces violation of the sex offender registry. The indictment indicates that Richardson allegedly failed to report as ordered. Court officials added that 23-year-old Tyler Alexander Benton was indicted on two counts of child abuse and neglect. According to the indictment, Benton allegedly caused harm to a 8-year-old and a 11-year-old earlier this year. Both will be arraigned in Cumberland County Criminal Court September 15, 2017.
