Rose Anna Stone, age 84, of the Linary community in Cumberland County passed away Monday February 12, 2018. She is survived by her children: Margaret Chesteene Buttram, Violet Roena Barnes, Clarice Rose Winningham, and Jefferson “Jeff” Adam Stone; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister: Violet Lorene Cook; many nieces and nephews; her church family from Cumberland Worship Center; and a host of friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be held Thursday February 15, 2018 at 2 pm from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Linary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 am to 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
