A Cumberland County sex offender classified as violent by the state faces a new charge after being indicted this week by a grand jury. Court officials say 45-year-old Charles Christopher White is charged with violation of the sex offender registry. The indictment indicates that White reportedly failed to report a new place of residence within 48 hours of establishing the dwelling. White was placed on the sex offender registry after convictions in 1991 for sexual battery and in 2005 for aggravated sexual battery.
