A Harriman man charged with violent sex crimes has pleaded guilty. Court documents say that 32-year-old Shawn D. McDavid was convicted of aggravated sexual battery after performing the offensive act on a 4-year-old child. He was sentenced to five years state prison, a lifetime on the sexual offender registry and he will be required to submit to community supervision for life.
