CUMBERLAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPOINT NEW FIRE CHIEF

Cumberland County Commissioners appointed a new Fire Chief Monday evening. The County Technical Assistance Service reviewed, evaluated and recommended Trevor Kerley out of three candidates for the position. Current Fire Chief Jeff Dodson will be retiring at the end of the year. The commission approved the appointment 16-1 with Commissioner Tom Isham casting the only vote against.
