The Tennessee Highway Patrol released a report this afternoon regarding an accident on Highway 127 South in Cumberland County last Sunday afternoon. Troopers say a vehicle operated by a 47-year-old Stacie Sherrill from Crossville left the road, struck a ditch and traveled over Bob Tollett Road. The vehicle then went across the lawn of the House of Hope, went through a large outbuilding and came to rest after striking several trees in a wooded area. Sherrill was transported to an area trauma center for treatment of injuries. A cause of the crash was not noted in the report.
