Rice University announced yesterday the hiring of Matt Bragga as its new head baseball coach. Bragga has spent the past 15 years serving as head coach at Tennessee Tech. His 446 wins are the second most in school history. This past season, he led Tennessee Tech to its best season, amassing a school- and Ohio Valley Conference-record 53 wins while leading the team to the OVC regular-season title and its first-ever trip to the NCAA Super Regionals.
