STORMS WILL INCREASE
A few thunderstorms popped up between Crossville and Chattanooga Saturday afternoon and one made it to the Cumberland County Rhea County Line but starting fading at dark. Sunday will see a chance 50% of thunderstorms as the atmosphere is getting more unstable, high temperature mid-to-upper 80s. Monday will be a much more active day with showers and storms likely 70% and a high temperature only in the low 80s. There will be a threat of scattered thunderstorms for July 4th otherwise very warm and humid. The national high on Saturday was 118 at Death Valley California and the low was 31 at Dillon Colorado. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and we will be scanning the radar for those pop-up storms
