On December 18, 2016 at approximately 10:45PM Cumberland County E911 received a telephone call from a person who stated that they had discovered the body of a deceased
female lying in the roadway of a logging road off of Deck Road in western Cumberland County. Deputies with the Sheriffs Office responded to the scene and determined that the deceased female was the result of an apparent homicide. Deputies secured the crime scene as Investigators with the Cumberland County Sheriffs Office and Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation responded to the crime scene and assumed the investigation. The 13 th Judicial District Attorney’s Office also responded and is assisting in the investigation.

The victim has been identified as Donna Roam, age 41, a resident of Cumberland County.  It is early into the investigation and little information can be released at this time, but
Investigators are currently investigating this case as a homicide. The victim will be transported to the State of Tennessee Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
