A tractor-trailer accident on the 317 exit on ramp eastbound of I-40 in Crossville this afternoon has that ramp sealed off. Chris South with the Crossville Fire Department told 105.7 News that a FedEx freight truck overturned while on the ramp heading down to the interstate. The truck contained eight containers of liquid fertilizer, each containing over 200 gallons. One ruptured in the accident and fire crews quickly contained the leak. A clean-up crew has been called in to assist. It will be a long process to clean and clear the scene and the eastbound ramp will be closed for a indefinite period of time. No injuries were initially reported in the accident.
