POTENTIAL DANGEROUS STORM SYSTEM APPROACHING LISTENING AREA

A dynamic and strong fall storm system will intensify as it moves toward the southeast into the listening area late tomorrow night and Tuesday (Nov. 5 & 6, 2018).

The unseasonable warm, moist and unstable air mass and a strong jet stream is setting up for supercells (storms capable of producing tornadoes) to develop.

Widespread strong and damaging winds of 60 to 80 miles per hour, tornadoes that may be strong and long tracked, large hail, lightning, and flash flooding could take place.

This is a very dangerous and life threatening situation developing, given the fact that the storms are expected in our area in the overnight hours tomorrow night into Tuesday morning.

105.7 The Hog Staff Meteorologist Steve Norris will provide updates as this storm system gets into the listening area. Stay tuned to 105.7 The Hog for updates, watches or warnings tomorrow night into Tuesday.
