A single vehicle accident early this afternoon resulted in at least one person sustaining minor injuries. Medical responders and firefighters went to the scene on the 1100 block of Old Jamestown Highway around 1 p.m. where a white Saturn left the road near a curve, turned on the driver’s side and came to rest near a wooded area. Two ambulances responded to the scene to help the three people who were reported inside the vehicle. More information, including the names of those involved, will be released in the accident report at a later time.
