ABSTON CHARGED WITH CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AFTER DOG DIES
A cruelty to animals charge was recently placed on a Cumberland Countian. A dispute between brothers over a dog led authorities to a home on Junior Camp Road. Michael Deangelo Abston, age 50, apparently kicked and stomped the animal until it died, dragged the dog to a nearby wood line and left it there. Abston told officers that the dog was his and he did not see any problems with what he did. Abston was taken to the Cumberland County jail.
