A two-vehicle accident Monday on Highway 70 North at Kidwell Lane in Cumberland County resulted in a traffic backup.

The report released today by the Tennessee Highway Patrol states a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 82-year-old Linda Faye Jensen stopped for a vehicle in front of her making a sudden turn using no turn signal. Jensen was rear-ended by a 2022 Nissan Altima operated by 18-year-old Lexus I. Howard.

The report states both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of impact.

Troopers say no injuries were reported.
